Dear Satan Help Us - Chapter 27

Tournament Part 11 –

Four staff men were repairing the platform for the other fighters, filling in the holes and lining up the squares correctly, Maximus broke the silence with a clearing of his throat as he turned towards Lola.

“Um, Lola – we’re you really worried about me?” Maximus asked with a warm smile, only causing Lola’s eye to grow wild as she lost her voice.

“Uh…” Was all that Lola could manage to say before a tall man walked up, peering over both Lola and Maximus he cut in on their conversation.

“About your comment earlier, you shouldn’t ask such things.” Eledon said, shocking them both as they did notice him until he was over them.

“F – For a tall man, he moves damn nearly silently.” Maximus said in shock as Eledon pushed himself into Maximus’s place, both Lola and Eledon now meeting eye to eye – Kaiser could only look up and glare at the man as her hands shook.

“S – Sorry Senpai.” Lola said as she did a slight bow in respect, Maximus’s face lit up red.

“Why you call him that?!” Maximus called out, only confusing Kaiser.

“Senpai, means…?” Kaiser asked but both Kaiser and Maximus were ignored by Eledon and Lola, both to their annoyance.

“Such a pretty girl with an edger mind, I guess it wouldn’t hurt if I told you. After the academy everything will be real and very gruesome, as seniors will be winged off of the safety that virtual reality gives you.” Eledon explained, only causing the students of Team X stomach’s to twist and turn as Konan spoke up.

“We’re nearly killing each other for a sport, don’t you think that’s a little sick? What, will we just kill each other for the execliss to take over and be the most dominant ones on the food chart?!” Konan asked out, raising his voice as the other Team’s began to pay attention – Eledon hoovered over Konan as he glared down at him striking fear into Konan.

“You’re a smart kid, you should know its kill or be killed – asking questions like these will get you killed.” Eledon whispered in Konan’s tear but loud enough for his other teammates to hear.

“Somethings never change with you.” Goma said with a snicker as Eledon turned around, Goma took his complete attention as he quickly walked over to Goma and grabbed at Goma’s face pulling them closer to him – they locked eyes for a few seconds before Jesse interrupted them.

“Don’t lay a hand on –“Jesse began to say but was quickly brought down to his knees by Eledon whose hand simply glowed white, he didn’t he have to move it yet he was restricting Jesse of his airflow.

“Stop it Eli!” Kaiser called out in near tears as her hands shook, but Goma listened to the order as he turned around to face Kaiser.

“Eledon.” Eledon said, correcting Kaiser as she simply nodded in agreement.

“Sorry, Eledon.” Kaiser said, correcting herself as Eledon drew in closer to her making Kaiser take a few steps back Eledon hoovered over Kaiser.

“Do you remember a girl in your history class by the name, ‘Ashley’? It says here, you two had a minor disagreement.” Eledon began questioning as he was reading off the report on his scanner, Kaiser could only question everything in her mind.

“It’s already in your scanner, you know all of this already why do you need me to say yes?” Kaiser asked, only making Eledon rub his eyes out of frustration.

“Answer the question, you were there when she died correct?” Eledon asked as he looked over all the face of the students of Team X, pale, ice cold looks of fear were painted on their faces as they all re-played the violent memory in their head. Their faces gave Eledon his answer, he could only roll his eyes.

“I don’t even know why she thinks of putting you up so high, all you do is let people die around you.” Eledon said as he hit a cord, Kaiser balled up her fist.

“You weren’t there, you have no idea!” Kaiser nearly shouted as Eledon simply glared.

“I hate excuses, obviously I wasn’t there – if I was she’d still be alive. Now Doniel, that’s a different story.” Eledon stated, only causing Kaiser to do a small grin.

“You know, you’re not as smart as you look.” Kaiser replied, before they could say another word again the announcer jumped on the platform and began to speak.

“Ran vs Nikolai both from Wind is starting up soon, will both fighters come step on to the arena?” The announcer called out as Ran and Nikolai both made their way on to the platform, Nikolai was quick to talk.

“Two nation hoppers in one tournament? I need another drink, this is just disgusting.” Nikolai called out as he let out a big sigh, Ran’s face filled to the top with the color red out of anger.

“Goodness, all you ignorant people do is just repeat each other – how about hating me for a valid reason?!” Ran called out as Nikolai began to laugh from how fast Ran took the bait.

“We’re just splitting out the truth, just go banish yourself to the Dark Nation and do us all a favor – be with the zombies.” Nikolai suggested, only furthering Ran’s anger as the announcer began the countdown.

“5…4…3…2…1…0 Fight on!” The announcer called out, Ran was quick to mix her energy – one encased with sand and other wind she slammed her hands together as she created a large Sand Storm. The students on the grass had to shield themselves as the audience up above was perfectly safe from the barriers installed previously.

Even Ran couldn’t see through her own cover, putting her goggles over her eyes several shots encased in 3 different types of energy came directly in front of her – Ran using Earth energy hit the ground with her fist as a large mud wall rose from the ground to block and hold the bullets.

The last bullet that came in contact with the wall was made of explosive – hitting the wall it exploded as well as making the other bullets react Ran was sent flying back as her sandstorm began to dissolve due to the dark energy bullet that the explosive bullet activated it.  A part of her leg was on fire due to the blast, using water energy she sprayed water from her mouth all over her legs in fear.

“Here, let me help you with that.” Nikolai called out as he froze the very water Ran was using to extinguish the flames with. “Looks like my water skill is higher than yours, tsk tsk tsk.” Nikolai said jokingly, he threw a hatchet completely missing Ran it landed behind her as a strong soundwave blasted from behind her. Pushing her violent as the sound waves overwhelmed her, her body was unable to break free from the ice.

“Sorry, is that too loud?” Nikolai asked as he giggled some more, the soundwaves finally stopped leaving Ran sweating like a dog from the intense sound – her left eye was bleeding.

“Y – You’re acting funny, not in a haha way either.” Ran said with pain as slowly began to pull of her frail from behind her.

“Hahaha, when you’re older I’ll explain.” Nikolai said with a huge smile as he went to drink from his bottle, Ran used wind energy from her legs to free herself of the ice trap – flying towards Nikolai she swung her frail missing Nikolai by a few inches but she broke his bottle angering him.  “Fucking seriously?! This was expensive!” Nikolai whined.

“Maybe if fought me like an equal, you’d have a better time.” Ran suggested as readied her fist encased with energy thunder, she nailed Nikolai in the stomach – paralyzing him. “Just because I’m a young nation hopper, won’t guarantee you a victory!” Ran called out as Nikolai still moved his body much to her surprise, pulling out his shotgun he finally began having trouble moving his joints as he tried to lift his arm up to aim his shotgun at Ran.

Ran took the opening as she swiftly upper-cutted him in the jaw, with a harsh roundhouse she kicked him to the side as she let off a huge grin.

“He relies on purely long range, he’s crazy to try to fight anyone including an execliss with that setup alone.”  Jin stated as he watched the lively match, Moonair also couldn’t take her eyes off of her teammate’s battle.

“Still, all he needs is one good shot.” Moonair added, causing Jin to get slightly worried. Nikolai was pouring shot after shot from his 6 gauge shotgun, Ran was easily dodging the shots due to her agility with the wind and her small frame. She flipped over the last few shells as she shot a blast of water from her mouth and into Nikolai’s face distracting him as she began to draw in close with her frail, Nikolai was quick to begin to wildly lash at with dual metal hatchets – even cutting Ran on the face much to her surprise as she stopped her strong blast of water.

Ran taking a steps back because of the sudden attack put up a quick wind shield just in case, Nikolai quickly coated one of his hatchets with fire energy by touching it with his fire covered hand – he threw it at Ran as it stuck on her shield she simply sighed.

“Again?” Ran said as the hatchet exploded, she was sent flying back because of the harsh blast – she slowly began to get up off her back in pain. “I have to win this for my Team, and for Tigz. He would be proud.” Ran said painfully as she stood up, all she could hear was Nikolai’s laughter.

“Don’t get cocky, I’ll treat you like a zombie and blow your leg off!” Nikolai called out, Ran could only sigh she gently put her hands together – her face was filled with embarrassment much Jin’s joy.

“And she said she’d never attempt this skill at a tournament.” Jin said aloud, confusing of the students random him. Ran began to sing, the scanners around the stadium all zoomed in on Ran’s song that was quickly found out to be not a regular one.

It controlled the mind of many men around who were watching, making them all sing along and dance to Ran’s wicked tune. Erwin and Jin were the only two men who weren’t affected.

“If she sung her new one, I’d be a puppet just like the rest.” Jin said as he looked at Jesse who was dancing, desperately trying to make Goma dance who wasn’t in the mood. Ran continued her song as she drew in close to Nikolai, grabbing at his collar she pulled him up into the air using wind energy – finally stopping her song Nikolai began coming to his senses.

“I – I can’t fly!” Nikolai yelled out as he began to panic.

“Then I guess you better give up huh?” Ran asked with a wicked smirk, Nikolai could not allow his damage to be hurt so deeply.

“You’re an evil little witch, piss off!” Nikolai yelled, both stared at each eye to eye as Ran released him letting Nikolai fall at a fast rate – his screams filled up the stadium.

“I – I – I – I give uuuuuuup!” Nikolai yelled all the way down, tears escaped from his eyes as he began to accept his fate – before he could hit the ground he was suddenly stopped by Ran. Opening his eyes he looked down to see several staff men below ready to catch Nikolai.  Ran setting Nikolai on ground ended the match as the announcer immediately began his speech.

“Ran of Wind is the victor! Team .2 is taken out of the tournament, the finals is upon us as only two teams are left! It’s only proper for both team leaders to fight each other in the finals, how this end for this newly bought together couple? The tournament bought them together, now will it rip them apart?!” The announcer asked the audience as they began to scream out of excitement.

“W – What does our relationship have to do about fighting?” Moonair asked as she looked around in annoyance at all the people so highly interested.

“Just as I feared…” Goma said under their breath, looking up at the picture of Kaiser and Moon for this upcoming battle. Some of the members in the audience were disgusted by the idea.

“You know damn well its abuse for someone like her to hit an alien!” A man called out as others quickly began to agree, Kaiser could only raise an eyebrow at them out of confusion.

“The final match will begin tomorrow evening, for this part only the Teams that participated in this tournament can come watch the fight live at the new location. Don’t worry everyone, you will be able to watch right at the comfort of your own home or on the go – this will be aired nationwide. Stay tune!” The announcer stated, Goma could only run their hands through their hair out of nervousness.

“They’re really hyping this fight up, don’t lose.” Maximus simply said, making Kaiser sigh and smile as Maximus is always Maximus.

“We should get going, they’re going to be closing down this stadium quickly.” Erwin suggested.

“I’ll catch up with y’all later since we’re finished here, be safe.” Kaiser said as she ran off, meeting Moonair by her team’s locker room they both teleported together using different destinations. Taking them to the Western Region of Earth, the exited the transportation buildings and made their way to a small and silent river with few trees around – the sun was slowly setting.

“Kaiser.” Moonair finally said, breaking their awkard silence.

“Yes, Moonair?” Kaiser replied happily as she gave off one of her bright smiles.

“It’s not cheating, if I use my eye right – or unfair?” Moonair asked with doubt in her voice, suddenly the conversation got serious.

“Moonair please don’t hold back tomorrow.” Kaiser stated, Moonair could only give off a weak smile as she began to play with her hair nervously.

“I guess, being hit by you won’t bring up any mememories.” Moonair said in relief as she held her head, fear was obviously filled in her eyes.

“What do you mean by that?” Kaiser asked in confusion, Moonair could only sigh.

“My previous owners were from the Heat Nation.” Moonair admitted, making Kaiser’s jaw hit the floor as she grabbed Moonair gently by both shoulders.

“Please explain, there are millions of thoughts going through my head right now and I just don’t know where to-“ Kaiser tried to say but was stopped by Moonair’s lips pressed against Kaiser’s. “W – Why didn’t you tell me before?” Kaiser asked, now with calmness in her voice.

“Because I don’t remember, any of it.” Moonair said, furthering Kaiser’s confusion Moonair handed Kaiser a few pages of paperwork titled: ‘Slave #778’. “I found this digging through my owners stuff, I came across my paperwork. I only costed 10,000 diamonds.” Moonair finished as Kaiser’s eye grew big out of shock.

“What the fuck.” Was all Kaiser could say as she rubbed her head, trying to process all of what she heard.

“Sorry, this is weird – should I stop?” Moonair asked, Kaiser quickly began waving her hands ‘no’.

“No, no! Please continue, this is more shocking and wrong than weird.” Kaiser explained, Moonair simply took a deep breath as she desperately held in her tears.

“I don’t remember, I don’t remember anything like Lola can. I fear I was just some creation, like that water kid you met long ago.” Moonair said as voice suddenly called out from the lake’s water.

“My name is Wasser, thank you strange out of planet life form.” Wasser said raising from the water as both girls held on to each other and began to scream out of fear. “Don’t worry, you are an original.” Wasser added, getting the attention of both girls.

“Original?” Kaiser and Moonair both asked at the same time.

“My kind is being mass reproduced by man yours? Not so much.” Wasser said as he walked over to them and took a sit near the girls. “Humans need us more now, you’re both too clumsy.” Wasser finished.

“Who’s even building you?” Moonair finally asked, Wasser could only shrug.

“I only know of Master Raimi and Resiak.” Wasser admitted, causing Kaiser’s eyes to sparkle.

“You know Resiak?!” Kaiser asked, the tension in the air grew thick.

“Yes.” Wasser simply replied.

“Who is he?” Kaiser asked, the answer to all of her questions was in front of her.

“Classified.” Wasser simply said, greatly disappointing Kaiser.

“Where is he from?” Kaiser asked.

“Classified.” Wasser said again, only frustrating Kaiser as she simply sighed and began to rub her head.

“He’s right, I must be an original at least I know what freedom is like. Your race was built with no freedom, mine was simply stripped of it.” Moonair explained, Kaiser just couldn’t wrap her head around as to why Wasser would defend Res.

“Why do you even protect someone like him?” Kaiser asked, Wasser smiled proudly.

“He did nothing wrong.”
